The  first week of the lesson we all opened e-mail accounts with gmail, twitter, you tube.

Internet in context
what is Internet?  the Internet is the infrastructure that allows you to build a website.
How do we connect to the Internet? we connect to the Internet using 3G, WI-Fi, dial up, modem, router,DS4. Example of Internet browsers are fire fox, opera mini, goggle chrome .

Search engines is a database system designed to index and categories Internet address otherwise known as URLs examples of search engines are goggle, yahoo and Bing.
DNS (domain name system) is the address to the sever that  the site is saved on and send to the correct destination.

We also look at the difference between downloading and uploading and the difference between URLs and DNS.
